Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Autonomous Body of the Central Board of the
Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (HIPMI) Womenpreneur is
integrating the AIM ASEAN programme throughout Indonesia to produce
regional female entrepreneurs ready to compete digitally at the regional
level.

Chair of the HIPMI Womenpreneur Autonomous Body, Ayse Melissa Hamid,
highlighted the crucial impact of the programme on female
entrepreneurs.

“Through AIM ASEAN, we want to ensure that female entrepreneurs are
not just spectators, but main players in the global digital economy,”
Melissa said in a statement received in Jakarta on Thursday.

This step was strengthened through the signing of a memorandum of
understanding (MoU) in Jakarta on Wednesday (8/4) between HIPMI
Womenpreneur and Kaizen Collaborative Impact as the local implementing
partner for the Artificial Intelligence for MSME Advancement in ASEAN
(AIM ASEAN) programme in Indonesia.

The strategic programme targets more than 5,000 female MSME actors to
gain access to free digital training and resources.

Unlike general technology initiatives that are centred in the
capital, the integration of the AIM ASEAN programme prioritises the
strength of the organisation’s network to reach all corners of
Indonesia.

The implementation of the programme will be distributed evenly from
the national level (BPP), down to the provincial level (BPD), and
reaching the grassroots at the branch level (BPC).

Furthermore, this inclusive collaboration is specifically designed to
embrace five groups of society, including rural communities and those
previously underserved.

Through the equalisation of digital literacy and the integration of
artificial intelligence (AI) in various regions, the initiative is
expected to open up more massive market linkage opportunities and drive
economic empowerment for women’s MSMEs at the local level.

“AIM ASEAN is a technology bridge for 5,000 women in Indonesia to
adopt AI in a practical and safe manner,” said Ismita Saputri,
representative from Kaizen Impact.
",
