        "content": "<p>High cost economy<\/p>\n<p>As emphasized by President Soeharto in his Independence Day<br>\nspeech, deregulation measures are intended to prepare the nation<br>\nfor a highly competitive economy in this era of globalization.<\/p>\n<p>Also it is worth noting that the government's economic<br>\nmeasures are aimed at abolishing the high cost economy gradually.<\/p>\n<p>Truly, the deregulation measures have led to the increased<br>\nvolume of non-oil exports. But the export of non-oil commodities<br>\nhas not as yet been supported by any improvement in efficiency.<\/p>\n<p>The increase is mainly attributed to the availability of both<br>\nnatural and human resources. Natural resources will continue to<br>\nbe advantageous in the next decade, but the availability of cheap<br>\nlabor cannot remain stable.
