BEIRUT \u2013 Hezbollah said it launched 24 attacks on Saturday targeting\nIsraeli military units, vehicles, and infrastructure, as well as firing\nrockets at the northern Israeli settlement of Kiryat Shmona. This is one\nof the largest attacks by the Lebanese resistance group.<\/p>\n
In a statement, the group detailed extensive use of rockets,\nartillery fire, and attack drones against Israeli forces. Primary\ntargets included five Merkava tanks, a military bulldozer, and military\ninfrastructure in Safed, Nahariya, and Karmiel, the Meron air\nsurveillance base, and Israeli army barracks in Liman, Shomera, and\nYa\u2019ara.<\/p>\n

According to Channel 12, a series of continuous alerts began in the\nevening and continued into the afternoon as projectiles were repeatedly\nlaunched towards the north. The report stated that eight waves of sirens\nsounded across settlements in Upper and Western Galilee during the day,\nmarking one of the busiest alert periods since the ceasefire was\nimposed.<\/p>\n
Initial data cited by the channel indicated at least 15 launches\ncrossed from Lebanon into northern Israel, while dozens of additional\nlaunches failed to cross the border or triggered widespread preventive\nalerts.
