        "content": "<p>President Prabowo Subianto has instructed the provision of a special\ndiesel fuel price of Rp15,000 per litre for fishing entrepreneurs. The\ndecision was made during a limited meeting held at the Hambalang\nresidence in Bogor on Monday, 13 July 2026. Minister of Energy and\nMineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia explained that the special price of\nRp15,000 per litre is intended for fishing vessels with a size of 30 to\n200 gross tonnage (GT). The policy aims to help reduce operational costs\nand increase productivity to support the sustainability of the national\nfisheries business. Bahlil stated that the policy decided at the limited\nmeeting in Hambalang on 13 July 2026 is funded through the Plantation\nFund Management Agency (BPDP) without using the state budget (APBN),\nwith a quota of 400,000 tonnes for the next six months. Following this\npolicy, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources will issue\nimplementing regulations, while distribution will be coordinated with\nthe Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries to ensure it is\nwell-targeted, thereby strengthening food security, the maritime\neconomy, and the welfare of Indonesian fishers. Airlangga explained that the non-subsidised fuel price is\nbased on the average domestic production cost of diesel, which is\nRp18,600 per litre, meaning the government is providing a subsidy of\nRp3,600 per litre.
