Hembing launches book on SARS<\/p>\n
JAKARTA: Herbal medicine expert H.M. Hembing Wijayakusuma has
\nmade the best of the ongoing Jakarta Book Festival 2003,
\nlaunching his latest book Proteksi Dini Terhadap SARS (How to
\nprotect yourself from SARS).<\/p>\n
The prolific writer was not dismayed when only several people
\nattended the launch. \"It (low attendance) is okay, because this
\nshows that Indonesians are not afraid of SARS,\" he quipped.<\/p>\n
The book offers tips on how to deal with the deadly Severe
\nAcute Respiratory Syndrome, or SARS, which started in southern
\nChina and spread to much of the world.<\/p>\n
\"I was in Guangdong when the first SARS case was reported, so
\nI think I have the authority to write a book (on it),\" he said.<\/p>\n
Hembing said he could not imagine if SARS became a nationwide
\nepidemic, as is happening in China, because Indonesians have bad
\nhabits when it comes to health and hygiene.<\/p>\n
\"Even countries that are highly disciplined like China, Taiwan
\nand Singapore are overwhelmed. What might happen if an epidemic
\nbreaks out in Indonesia?\" he said. -- JP<\/p>\n

RADNOR, Pennsylvania: Arnold Schwarzenegger says he may think
\nabout running for California governor after the summer release of
\nhis new movie, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, but his family
\nwill have a say in the matter.<\/p>\n
\"When I get to that point that I say, 'I want to run,' I will
\nhave that conversation with my family and with my close friends,\"
\nSchwarzenegger told TV Guide for its May 31 issue.<\/p>\n
He said the advice of his wife, NBC News correspondent Maria
\nShriver, a member of the Kennedy family and a Democrat, will be
\nespecially significant.<\/p>\n
\"She has to give the green light and feel comfortable with it,
\nbecause she moved away from Washington to get away from all that
\nkind of stuff,\" Schwarzenegger said.<\/p>\n
\"I'm not thinking about it (now), but I might start thinking
\nabout it after Terminator 3 is released,\" said Schwarzenegger, a
\nRepublican. He says the movie is his top priority for now.<\/p>\n
