Help keep city clean: Mayor<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): South Jakarta Mayor H.Pardjoko has called on all
\nresidents, including shop owners and people living along major
\nroads, to help keep the city clean.<\/p>\n
\"I will never get bored of touring Jakarta, inspecting and
\nleading the regular cleanliness campaigns sponsored by the city
\nadministration, so that the capital lives up to its motto:
\nJakarta Teguh Beriman,\" Pardjoko told Antara.<\/p>\n
Teguh Beriman is the abbreviation of the Indonesian Teruskan
\nGerakan Untuk Hidup Bersih, Menarik dan Aman, which means:
\nMovement for the continuation of clean, interesting and peaceful
\nlife.<\/p>\n
Pardjoko expressed deep concern about the fact that many shop
\nowners, whose shops are located on major roads, have not yet paid
\nfull attention to the cleanliness around their areas.<\/p>\n
He said the city administration has assigned private parties
\nto be in charge of cleanliness along the city's main roads. \"So
\nfar, however, they have not performed up to expectations, as
\nproved by the fact that those shop owners have yet to place
