        "content": "<p>Heavy rainfall that fell over recent days has caused land subsidence\nand a mosque to collapse.<\/p>\n<p>Land subsidence occurred in a residential area in Ketanggungan\nVillage, Wirobrajan District, Yogyakarta on Sunday, 1 March at\napproximately 5:00 am. The subsided area measured approximately 3 by 2\nmetres.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of the Yogyakarta City Disaster Management Agency (BPBD),\nNur Hidayat, explained that preliminary findings suggest the land\nsubsidence was triggered by intense heavy rainfall. \u201cThe impact affected\none kitchen building quite severely due to the land beneath it\nsubsiding,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, on the evening of Tuesday, 24 February, in Bantul\nRegency, Adzikri Mosque in Sriharjo Village, Imogiri District, was\ndamaged. The mosque building was situated on the bank of the Oya\nRiver.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of Bantul BPBD, Mujahid Amruddin, stated that the mosque was\ndamaged due to river bank erosion caused by heavy rainfall and swift\nriver flow. As a result, the mosque collapsed because the land beneath\nit was eroded. \u201cThere were no casualties,\u201d he said.<\/p>",
