        "content": "<p>Heavy rain accompanied by strong winds that struck parts of Bandung\nCity on Saturday (29\/3) had widespread impacts, causing six trees to\nfall and two billboards to collapse.<\/p>\n<p>The Bandung City Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) recorded\nthat the fallen trees occurred on Jalan Guntursari Wetan, Jalan Buah\nBatu in Turangga Ward, Jalan Lodaya, Jalan Buah Batu in Batununggal\nWard, Jalan Soekarno Hatta, and Jalan Selontongan.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the two collapsed billboards occurred on Jalan Buah Batu\nin Turangga Ward. Fortunately, all the incidents triggered by the heavy\nrain and strong winds did not result in any fatalities or injuries.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis incident was triggered by extreme weather conditions in the\nform of heavy rain accompanied by strong winds,\u201d stated the Head of\nPrevention and Preparedness Division of Bandung City BPBD, Amires\nPahala, on Sunday (29\/3).<\/p>\n<p>According to Amires, based on data collected by Bandung City BPBD up\nto 14:30 WIB, all incidents of fallen trees and collapsed billboards\nhave been handled by the relevant agencies. \u201cHandling has been carried\nout by the relevant technical services, including the Fire and Rescue\nDepartment, the Housing and Settlement Area Office (DPKP), and the\nMunicipal Civil Service Police Unit,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Amires mentioned that, in general, these incidents temporarily\ndisrupted road access and posed potential hazards in the surrounding\nareas, but no fatalities or injuries were reported in these events.
