        "content": "<p>Iranian authorities said the United States military struck a base\nbelonging to Iran\u2019s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in the\nnorthern province of Gilan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis morning, the IRGC naval forces headquarters in Zibakenar was\ntargeted by enemy American projectiles, which damaged several pieces of\nequipment at the complex,\u201d said Ali Bagheri, deputy governor of Gilan\nprovince, as quoted by Iran\u2019s official news agency IRNA, cited by AFP on\nFriday (24\/7\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Iranian military said on Friday that it had again\ncarried out drone attacks against several American military facilities\nand bases in Bahrain and Jordan, in retaliation for the latest US\nstrikes against the Islamic republic.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis morning, fuel tanks, large equipment warehouses, silos and\nbarracks of the terrorist American army at Isa Air Base in Bahrain were\ntargeted by Arash kamikaze drones,\u201d the Iranian military said in a\nstatement broadcast by Iranian state television.<\/p>\n<p>An AFP journalist in Bahrain reported explosions and warning sirens\nin the country on Friday morning local time, although it was not yet\nclear whether the two events were connected.<\/p>\n<p>The Iranian military also claimed drone attacks against Jordan,\ntargeting \u201caircraft hangars, aviation maintenance hangars and barracks\u201d\nat the Al-Azraq base.<\/p>\n<p>Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Friday (24\/7) that\nIran would hold accountable any state that assisted the United States in\nattacks against the Islamic republic.<\/p>\n<p>Tehran maintains that any facility or military base in the Middle\nEast used by the US military to attack Iran is considered a legitimate\ntarget for retaliation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAny participation, cooperation or assistance in carrying out\naggression against Iran will entail international responsibility for the\nparties involved,\u201d Araghchi said during a meeting in Kyrgyzstan.
