Support continues to flow for the victims of the landslide in\nPasirlangu Village, Cisarua Subdistrict, West Bandung Regency. One such\ncontribution comes from PT LG Electronics Indonesia (LG). The company\norganised a social programme titled LG Lebaran Sehat in Pasirlangu. This\nactivity forms part of the company\u2019s efforts to support the recovery of\nthe local community following the landslide disaster that struck at the\nend of January.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn the midst of this Eid atmosphere, we hope that LG\u2019s presence can\nprovide support to the community. Not only physically, but also in\nrebuilding spirit and hope, especially during the post-disaster recovery\nperiod,\u201d said Ha Sang-chul, President of LG Electronics Indonesia.<\/p>\n
According to him, this aligns with LG\u2019s commitment encapsulated in\nthe tagline Life\u2019s Good when We Do Good, with every initiative expected\nto deliver sustainable positive impacts.<\/p>\n
The LG Lebaran Sehat programme itself is the company\u2019s annual agenda,\ntimed to coincide with Eid al-Fitr. Entering its fourth year, as the\nname suggests, the main component is the provision of healthy food to\nthe community, combined with other programmes tailored to the\nrecipients\u2019 needs.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s implementation took place in the Pasirlangu area as one\nof the regions affected by the late January landslide, which resulted in\nfatalities and some residents temporarily reported missing. The company\nstructured the LG Lebaran Sehat programme with three focuses: social,\nhealth, and education.<\/p>\n
1,000 healthy meal packages<\/p>\n
In the social aspect, LG distributed 1,000 healthy meal packages to\nthe surrounding community. To ensure nutritional adequacy, all meals\nwere composed with a balanced nutritional profile, referring to the\nguidelines of the GERMAS (Healthy Living Community Movement) programme\nfrom the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia.<\/p>\n
At the same time, attention to the health aspect was addressed\nthrough collaboration with the local Integrated Service Post (Posyandu).\nOne form was health check-ups for toddlers to monitor growth and\ndevelopment while detecting potential stunting early.<\/p>\n
In addition, LG provided 100 bottles of vitamins for toddlers as\nrecommended by healthcare professionals.<\/p>\n
Educational toys<\/p>\n
On the same occasion, focusing on the education aspect, LG donated\nthree sets of educational toys for Early Childhood Education (PAUD) at\nSPS Aster Village, Pasirlangu. This activity was accompanied by\ncolouring sessions and the distribution of school supply packages for\nprimary school students affected.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is our effort to restore and further support the growing\nenthusiasm for learning among the children during this post-disaster\nrecovery period,\u201d said Rudy Tambuwun, Branch Manager for the Bandung\nArea at LG Electronics Indonesia.<\/p>\n
The entire series of activities also prioritised the use of\neco-friendly, recyclable materials. This initiative serves as an initial\neducation for children on the importance of adopting a sustainable\nlifestyle.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, he stated that LG Lebaran Sehat is part of one of the\ncompany\u2019s social initiative pillars, namely LG Loves and Cares, which\nfocuses on community social activities. This pillar supports various\ncompany social initiatives encompassed in LG Loves Indonesia.<\/p>\n

Besides LG Loves and Cares, LG Loves Indonesia has three other\npillars: LG Loves Green for environmental conservation, LG Loves School\nfor education, and LG Loves Children, which emphasises the development\nof Indonesian children.<\/p>\n
