Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Brian\nYuliarto, who attended the meeting, stated the partnership is part of\nefforts to strengthen the national education and research ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are currently discussing many things with Imperial College\nregarding our plan to build a strategic partnership to improve the\nquality of education in Indonesia, particularly medical education,\u201d\nBrian said in an official statement. He explained that Imperial College\nLondon would assist in the realisation of the ten new medical and\nscience universities by providing support in curriculum development,\nteaching standards, joint research, and the involvement of international\nvisiting professors.<\/p>\n<p>Brian expressed confidence that the collaboration would not only\nbenefit the ten new institutions but would also have a broad impact on\nmany universities across the country.
