        "content": "<p>Health checks may violate regulations<\/p>\n<p>MATARAM, West Nusa Tenggara: A local non-governmental<br>\norganization (NGO) reported on Monday that employees of labor<br>\nrecruitment agencies (PJTKI) had allegedly violated procedure<br>\nduring health checks of female workers applying to be posted<br>\noverseas.<\/p>\n<p>Endang Susilowati, the director of Panca Karsa Foundation in<br>\nWest Nusa Tenggara, said that PJTKI employees had reportedly<br>\nordered the workers to remove their clothes during the checks.<\/p>\n<p>\"This is a violation of health-check regulations,\" she said,<br>\nadding that the improper behavior had also insulted the dignity<br>\nof the workers.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the cases had occurred in Sumbawa regency, she<br>\nclaimed.<\/p>\n<p>Some PJTKIs in various parts of West Nusa Tenggara conduct<br>\ntheir own checks of worker's health.<\/p>\n<p>Separately, Sirojul Munir, the head of the provincial's<br>\nManpower Office, promised that his office would investigate the<br>\nreports.
