Headless body three days old: Expert<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): A forensic expert said a headless body found
\nSaturday in Klender, East Jakarta was three days old.<\/p>\n
Mun'im Idris of the Cipto Mangunkusumo General Hospital said
\nyesterday he believed the boy, found on Jl. I Gusti Ngurah Rai,
\nwas killed Thursday night.<\/p>\n
The boy is thought to have been a scavenger aged between 12 to
\n14 years.<\/p>\n
Mun'im said the body was similar to that of another dead boy
\nfound in July in Pondok Kopi, also East Jakarta. The two bodies'
\nstomachs had been slashed and had damaged anuses that contained
\nsemen. The stomach cuts were the same shape.<\/p>\n
The previous boy, identified as Kasikin, was the last victim
\nfound of eight boys killed in Jakarta. Two other dead boys were
\nfound in Central Java.<\/p>\n
Police believe the murders are related.<\/p>\n
But Mun'im said the body found Saturday \"was sodomized more
\nfrequently in view of the anal damage\" compared to the others.<\/p>\n
East Jakarta Police Chief Lt. Col. Nanan Sukarna said police
\nhave several suspects.<\/p>\n
He said police spoke with the suspected murderer of the 10
\nboys, Siswanto, alias Robot Gedeg, at the Salemba penitentiary on
\nSunday. Siswanto told them the names of several of his friends
\nwho were also pedophiles.<\/p>\n
Siswanto was arrested on July 27 at a railway station in
\nTegal, Central Java.<\/p>\n
Yesterday police again combed the site where the body was
\nfound near the Perumnas Klender housing complex.<\/p>\n
Officer Nanan believed the killer ran toward a slum area
\nacross a railway line in front of the housing complex.<\/p>\n
If the killer ran in another direction he would have been
\nrecognized by the complex's guards, Nanan said.<\/p>\n
Police have gathered dozens of scavengers to identify the
\nvictim. \"But they did not recognized the headless body.\"<\/p>\n
\"We hope the case can be solved early next month,\" Nanan said.<\/p>\n
Several people who have missing family members looked at the
\nbody in the Cipto Mangunkusumo General Hospital morgue but could
