        "content": "<p>Head of the National Nutrition Agency Dadan Hindayana has revealed\nthe current position of 21,801 electric motorcycles purchased for the\noperational needs of the free nutritious meal programme (MBG). Dadan\nstated that thousands of these electric motorcycles are currently in a\nwarehouse.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey are now in the distributor\u2019s warehouse,\u201d said Dadan when\ncontacted on Thursday night, 9 April 2026. He did not specify which\ndistributor\u2019s warehouse location he meant.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, an internal BGN source said that the thousands of\nelectric motorcycles were once stored in a warehouse in the Tangerang\narea and were later moved to the Cakung district military command\nheadquarters in East Jakarta, before finally being placed in a warehouse\nin the Sentul area, Bogor, West Java.<\/p>\n<p>In an amateur video that went viral on social media some time ago, it\nwas mentioned that the location of the thousands of electric motorcycles\nbearing the BGN logo was in a warehouse in the West Java area. From the\nvideo, it was also known that the electric motorcycles purchased by BGN\ncame from the Emmo Electric Mobility Indonesia brand.<\/p>\n<p>There are two types of Emmo brand motorcycles purchased by BGN,\nnamely the Emmo-JVX GT and Emmo-JV Max. Dadan once sent a screenshot of\nthe brand in question to Tempo. The screenshot contained the types of\nelectric motorcycles purchased along with their brands. Dadan confirmed\nthat BGN purchased electric motorcycles from Emmo.<\/p>\n<p>He also confirmed that the two types of motorcycles purchased by his\nagency were the Emmo-JVX GT type or trail motorcycle and the Emmo-JV Max\ntype or scooter motorcycle. For the trail motorcycles, Dadan said his\nagency purchased them for Rp 43.3 million per unit. The scooter type\nmotorcycles were purchased for Rp 41.7 million per unit.<\/p>\n<p>When asked when these motorcycles would be distributed to the SPPG,\nDadan has not yet responded.<\/p>\n<p>In a separate opportunity, Dadan explained the reason his agency\nprocured these electric motorcycles. He said that the MBG programme\ncurrently reaches difficult areas. \u201cReaching villages and areas that can\nonly be accessed by motorcycle. This is to support operations,\u201d he said\nat the State Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday, 8 April 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Dadan also said that for the time being, the government does not plan\nto add more units of these electric motorcycles. \u201cFor now, we will\nsuffice with this number because this is the 2025 budget. There is no\nplanning for purchases in 2026,\u201d he said.<\/p>",
