        "content": "<p>Jakarta \u2014 The planned execution of Hotel Sultan in the Gelora Bung\nKarno area has drawn renewed scrutiny. The legal team representing PT\nIndobuildco\u2019s Director General has lodged a complaint with the Judicial\nCommission (KY) against the Head of the Central Jakarta District Court\nand the Head of the Jakarta High Court.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint was filed because they believe the execution process\nfor Hotel Sultan is being forced, despite the dispute still being\nprocessed at the appellate level and potentially continuing to the\ncassation stage.<\/p>\n<p>PT Indobuildco\u2019s legal counsel, Hamdan Zoelva, stated that an\nofficial complaint was submitted to the Judicial Commission on Thursday,\n12 March 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday, we have filed a complaint to the Judicial Commission\nregarding Hotel Sultan. We are lodging complaints against the Head of\nthe Central Jakarta District Court and the Head of the Jakarta High\nCourt,\u201d Hamdan told reporters.<\/p>\n<p>Hamdan believes there has been differential treatment in the handling\nof the case. \u201cThis clearly demonstrates unequal treatment before the\nlaw,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that the dispute related to Hotel Sultan is currently\nundergoing legal proceedings at the appellate level. Moreover, he\nstated, the case could potentially proceed to the cassation stage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is a summary judgment or a ruling that is immediately\nenforceable from the court that is currently being processed, which we\nare appealing at the appellate level, and the appeal is under\nexamination, and of course it will continue through the cassation\nprocess,\u201d Hamdan explained.<\/p>\n<p>Hamdan also highlighted a previous provisional ruling that, according\nto him, was not enforced by the relevant parties. He noted that prior to\nDecision Number 208\/Pdt.G\/2025\/PN.Jkt.Pst, there was a Provisional\nDecision Number 667\/Pdt.G\/2023\/PN.Jkt.Pst dated 24 January 2024.<\/p>\n<p>However, this ruling is said not to have been enforced for months.\nEven on 29 October 2024, the Central Jakarta District Court refused to\nenforce the provisional ruling, claiming it had not received\nauthorisation from the Head of the Jakarta High Court.<\/p>\n<p>Hamdan emphasised that the complaint to the Judicial Commission was\nfiled because his team believes there are serious procedural violations\nin the planned execution.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are serious procedural violations that concern the function of\nthe judiciary. The court cannot claim this is a judicial technical\nmatter; this is a violation that should also receive the attention of\nthe KY,\u201d he said.<\/p>",
