The Minister of National Development Planning (PPN)\/Head of the\nNational Development Planning Agency (Bappenas), Rachmat Pambudy, stated\nthat the next phase of Indonesia\u2019s energy transition must focus on\nimplementation.<\/p>\n
\u201cEvery major energy policy must have a clear project pathway. Every\nproject pathway must have a financing pathway, and every investment must\ncontribute directly to our national development priorities,\u201d he said\nduring the Indonesia Sustainable Energy Week (ISEW) 2026 agenda,\naccording to an official statement in Jakarta on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
On this occasion, he emphasised the importance of accelerating the\nimplementation of Indonesia\u2019s energy transition by strengthening\nprojects, financing, and investments that align with national\ndevelopment priorities.<\/p>\n
Therefore, through ISEW 2026, which serves as the primary platform\nfor Indonesia\u2013Germany energy cooperation, it is hoped that the quality\nof cooperation between the two nations will increase to become more\noriented towards investment and project implementation.<\/p>\n
Existing cooperation has reportedly contributed to strengthening\npolicies, increasing institutional capacity, providing technical\nassistance, and developing dialogue among stakeholders to support\nIndonesia\u2019s energy transition agenda.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe next generation of cooperation between Indonesia and Germany\nmust move from knowledge to investment, from studies to projects, and\nfrom policy dialogue to implementation on the ground,\u201d the Minister of\nPPN stated.<\/p>\n
Rachmat Pambudy also invited Indonesia and Germany to continue\nstrengthening cooperation in driving mutual growth and realising a\ngreener world as part of the effort to build a better and more\nsustainable future.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe energy transition is not only part of the effort to reduce\nemissions, but can also become a new engine for industrialisation,\nstrengthen energy security, create new economic opportunities across\nIndonesia, and support Indonesia\u2019s transformation towards 2045 in a\nfaster, more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable manner,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
In line with this, Germany\u2019s Federal Minister for Economic\nCooperation and Development, Reem Alabali-Radovan, expressed the German\ngovernment\u2019s commitment to continue supporting the development of\nenvironmentally oriented investments.<\/p>\n
