Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Head of the Indonesian Republic Communication\nAgency, Syahganda Nainggolan, stated that President Prabowo Subianto has\nprovided directives to ensure that government communication serves as a\ntool for national unity.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe President\u2019s directive is focused on how this communication can\nbecome a tool for national unity,\u201d said Syahganda following his\ninauguration as Head of the Indonesian Communication Agency (Bakom) at\nthe State Palace, Jakarta, on Friday.<\/p>\n
Syahganda stated that he will direct his entire staff to implement\nthe President\u2019s instructions to ensure that development messages and the\nHead of State\u2019s key ideas are conveyed transparently and inclusively to\nall layers of Indonesian society.<\/p>\n
Syahganda emphasised that the primary task of the agency he leads is\nto safeguard the nation\u2019s narrative and civilisation. This will be\nachieved through intensive dialogue between the government and the\npress.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe essence is communication and narrative. Therefore, as the\nCommunication Agency, we are certainly here to safeguard civilisation,\u201d\nhe remarked.<\/p>\n
He added that Bakom RI will optimise discussion spaces with\njournalists. A two-way dialogue is expected to facilitate the flow of\ninformation from the government to the public and vice versa.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe goal is for the dialogue between the government and media\ncolleagues to ultimately convey government messages to the public and\nbring the public\u2019s messages back to the government,\u201d said Syahganda.<\/p>\n
In implementing these directives, Syahganda expressed his commitment\nto providing significant trust and a large workload to the Deputy Head\nof Bakom RI, Fadli Tri Hartono, who is younger than himself, to ensure\nthe agency\u2019s operational effectiveness.<\/p>\n
President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated Syahganda Nainggolan as the\nHead of the Indonesian Government Communication Agency (Bakom) RI and\nFadli Tri Hartono as the Deputy Head of Bakom RI at the State Palace in\nJakarta on Friday.<\/p>\n
The inauguration was based on Presidential Decree Number 106\/P of\n2026 regarding the Appointment of the Head and Deputy Head of the\nGovernment Communication Agency.
