        "content": "<p>Hasanuddin University (Unhas) student PJT, 19, from the Faculty of\nEngineering, sent a voice note to several campus friends before she was\nfound dead near the campus area in Gowa, South Sulawesi. The voice note\nwas also forwarded to the victim\u2019s parents. \u2018Before the incident, the\nvictim sent voice messages to other friends. Then the messages were\nforwarded to her parents,\u2019 said Ishaq Rahman, Head of Public Relations\nat Unhas, in a statement on Tuesday (19 May).<\/p>\n<p>In the voice note, the victim asked that she be searched at the\nparking area behind the Architecture Engineering building, as she feared\nshe might not be alive. \u2018If you get this voice note, it is likely that I\nam no longer here; if there is time, please find me there, at the\nparking behind the Architecture Engineering Building, because I might\njump,\u2019 PJT said in the recording. She also asked that no one blame\nthemselves for her acts.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018And then we\u2019ll meet there; basically, a lot happened because it\u2019s my\nown will. Please don\u2019t blame yourselves for this and thank you.\nHonestly, I don\u2019t know why this could be,\u2019 she said.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, a female student from the Faculty of Engineering at\nHasanuddin University was found dead after allegedly jumping from a\nbuilding near the campus in Gowa, South Sulawesi. Police are still\ninvestigating the cause of death.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Yes, the victim was found dead; she did not jump,\u2019 said the Head of\nthe Criminal Investigation Unit of Gowa Police, IPDA Andi Muhammad\nAlfian, to CNNIndonesia.com on Tuesday (19 May). Alfian explained that\nearly examinations of the body\u2019s state showed no signs of fracture or\nviolence.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Looking at the condition of the body, there are no broken bones, no\nserious injuries,\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, Alfian admitted they cannot determine the exact cause\nof death yet, as the family refused to permit an autopsy. \u2018[Is there a\nmedical condition?] We do not know yet. It was not autopsied because the\nfather did not want his child autopsied,\u2019 he said.<\/p>",
