        "content": "<p>Hartarto to address Australian business forum<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): Around 200 Australian businessmen will arrive in <br>\nJakarta next month to hold a high level business forum themed <br>\n\"Expanding Horizons\", says an Australian official.<\/p>\n<p>John Campbell, the first assistant secretary of the public <br>\naffairs division of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs <br>\nand Trade said Thursday that Coordinating Minister for Industry <br>\nand Trade Hartarto and Australian Minister of Trade Bob McMullan <br>\nhave confirmed that they will be addressing the delegates of the <br>\nforum, to be held at the Jakarta Hilton Convention Center on June <br>\n29-30.<\/p>\n<p>Campbell said the forum's discussion will focus on seven key <br>\nareas where Australia can offer Indonesia a competitive edge: <br>\nMining, energy, transport infrastructure, building construction, <br>\ntelecommunications and information technology.<\/p>\n<p>Commenting on the importance of Australian participation in <br>\nIndonesia's development, he said \"We must be proactive in <br>\nbuilding our trade relationship with Indonesia. We are <br>\nIndonesia's closest western neighbor and have a wealth of <br>\ninternationally competitive products and services,\" he said.<\/p>\n<p>Campbell added that the forum and trade mission will enable <br>\npartners from both countries to meet, discuss their needs and <br>\nultimately develop a tighter partnership.<\/p>\n<p>Over 200 Australian business people have expressed interest in <br>\nthe forum and trade mission, making it the biggest trade mission <br>\never to leave Australia. The mission is part of Australia Today <br>\nIndonesia '94, a bilateral cooperation campaign sponsored by the <br>\nAustralian government.<\/p>\n<p>He said that other speakers will include State Minister of <br>\nInvestment\/Chairman of the Investment Coordinating Board Sanyoto <br>\nSastrowardoyo, the deputy secretary of the Australian Department <br>\nof Foreign Affairs and Trade, Geoff Forrester, and a leading <br>\nAustralian businessman in Indonesia, Graeme Robertson of the <br>\nSwabara Group.(03)<\/p>",
