Harapan Kita gets Rp 1b donation<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Harapan Kita Foundation has received a Rp 1
\nbillion (US$454,545) donation from Bakrie Brothers' holding
\ncompany to help finance projects at the Harapan Kita cardiac
\ncenter hospital.<\/p>\n
The donation was made on Thursday by Aburizal Bakrie, chairman
\nof the Bakrie Group, to First Lady Tien Soeharto, chairperson of
\nthe foundation.<\/p>\n
Aburizal told reporters that the donation is aimed at helping
\nthe Harapan Kita hospital finance its cardiac divisions, which
\nare established in other hospitals throughout Indonesia.<\/p>\n
\"Harapan Kita hospital has successfully established its
\ncardiac units in various hospitals in a number of cities,
\nincluding Padang, Medan, Bandung, Yogyakarta and Ujungpandang, to
\nconduct heart surgery,\" Aburizal said.<\/p>\n
Harapan Kita hospital also administers emergency units in
\nseveral hospitals so they can treat patients with heart problems
\nin Banda Aceh, Palembang, Solo, Malang and Denpasar.<\/p>\n
Aburizal said that the donation is one of the activities to
\ncommemorate the Bakrie Group's 53th anniversary. (yns)<\/p>",
