        "content": "<p>Hanoi builds sugar mill<\/p>\n<p>HANOI (AFP): Singapore&apos;s Kecepe Limited has won a license to<br>\nbuild a US$30 million sugar plant in a central Vietnamese<br>\nprovince, a report said Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The plant to be built in Thua Thien Hue will produce refined<br>\nsugar and derivatives from sugar, the Lao Dong newspaper said.<br>\nConstruction will start at the end of this month and production<br>\nis expected to begin in 1999.<\/p>\n<p>The plant will have an initial capacity of 2,500 tons of sugar<br>\ncane per day which will be expanded to 5,000 by 2000.<\/p>",
