        "content": "<p>Jakarta \u2014 PT Bank KEB Hana Indonesia (Hana Bank) has distributed\ndonations to orphaned children and elderly underprivileged individuals\nthrough the Ramadan Charity Hana programme (SederHana), which was held\nas part of the bank\u2019s charitable initiatives during Ramadan.<\/p>\n<p>Hana Bank\u2019s Chief Executive Officer Yung Ryul Ko stated that the\nactivity demonstrates the company\u2019s commitment to serving communities in\nneed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThrough SederHana, we hope to continue sharing happiness and\nproviding tangible benefits to communities in need,\u201d said Yung Ryul Ko\nin a statement issued in Jakarta on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The donations were channelled to the Guru Kita Gusti Hamlet\nFoundation, a social, educational and religious organisation that has\nprovided support to orphaned children and elderly underprivileged women\nsince 2015.<\/p>\n<p>The donation handover ceremony was conducted at Hana Bank\u2019s head\noffice in South Jakarta by Yung Ryul Ko and senior management on Friday\n(13 March).<\/p>\n<p>As part of the programme, Hana Bank invited orphaned children to\nvisit its Mangkuluhur branch office in South Jakarta to participate in\nfinancial literacy education and learn about banking operations from an\nearly age.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the company distributed food packages to outsourced\nworkers at its head office as an expression of appreciation for their\nsupport in company operations.<\/p>\n<p>Funds for the SederHana activity came from corporate contributions\nand employee participation through a Ramadan Market, where 10 per cent\nof sales proceeds were donated to support the social initiative.<\/p>\n<p>The programme is one of Hana Bank\u2019s regular annual Ramadan\nactivities, aimed at fostering social responsibility both within the\ncompany and in the wider community.<\/p>",
