        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Task Force for Preventing Illegal Hajj has\nprevented 80 Indonesian citizens (WNI) suspected of intending to travel\nto Saudi Arabia for an illegal hajj at several airports. \u201cUp to today,\n80 enforcements have been carried out by immigration colleagues in\nvarious locations such as Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Kualanamu Medan, and\nSurabaya,\u201d stated Secretary of the Directorate General of Hajj and Umrah\nOrganisational Development at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Rizka\nAnungnata, in Jakarta on Friday. This Hajj Task Force was formed through\ncross-agency collaboration involving the Ministry of Religious Affairs,\nthe Ministry of Immigration and Correctional Services (Kemenimipas), and\nNational Police Headquarters. Its objective is to serve as a strategic\ninstrument in ensuring pilgrim protection as well as law enforcement\nagainst violations in hajj organisation. The organisation of hajj\nconcerns not only worship aspects but also citizen protection, national\nimage, and international trust. \u201cIn addition to supporting the Saudi\nArabian government, we are also reflecting on past experiences; in every\nhajj organisation, there have been many incidents involving Indonesians\nattempting to perform hajj through non-procedural means,\u201d said Rizka.\n\u201cThe regions carrying out delays at Soekarno-Hatta Airport involved 57\npeople, Medan five people, Surabaya 15, and Yogyakarta three people,\u201d\nstated Tessar. According to him, this prevention demonstrates the\nstate\u2019s presence in protecting its citizens. Indonesian citizens must\nnot be left stranded and become victims in Saudi Arabia, especially\nsince only hajj visas are permitted for entry into the Makkah area.\nMeanwhile, Deputy Head of Subdirectorate III of the Directorate of\nSpecial Criminal Investigation at National Police Criminal Investigation\nAgency, Police Commissioner Pipit Subiyanto, added that during this hajj\noperational period, the police have received 95 initial reports. From\nthese dozens of reports, some have completed the investigation process\nwhile others are still in follow-up. \u201cWe are investigating the motives\nand methods of non-procedural hajj. There are also cases being handled\nby provincial police commands,\u201d he said.
