They stress that the mission remains incomplete until all pilgrims safely return home by 2 July.

Inspector General of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (MoHU), retired
Major General Dendi Suryadi, stated that this year’s peak Hajj rituals
in Arafah, Muzdalifah, and Mina (Armuzna) proceeded smoothly overall,
despite minor on-ground challenges.

According to Dendi, one indicator of successful Hajj management was
the seamless movement of pilgrims during the peak phase, including
departures from Makkah hotels to Arafah and subsequent transfers to
Muzdalifah and Mina.

“Generally, despite minor obstacles, we have managed to deliver
ritual services effectively, particularly the movement of pilgrims from
Makkah hotels to Arafah, then to Muzdalifah and Mina,” Dendi told the
Hajj Media Center (MCH) team in Jamarat, Mina.

He noted that the final operational phase of Armuzna has concluded.
Most pilgrims opting for nafar awal (early departure) left Mina by
Friday, 29 May 2026, while those choosing nafar tsani (second departure)
completed their overnight stays on Saturday, 30 May 2026.

Although acknowledging some pilgrim complaints, Dendi emphasised that
issues were minor and did not disrupt overall Hajj operations.

He also expressed gratitude to all parties supporting Hajj logistics,
including Hajj officers, the House of Representatives, the Indonesian
Embassy in Saudi Arabia, and the Saudi government, particularly the
Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

“We have received substantial assistance from various stakeholders,
enabling smooth service delivery to pilgrims,” he said.

Dendi cautioned staff against complacency despite widespread
appreciation for this year’s peak Hajj execution. He stressed that the
mission is only complete once all pilgrims return to Indonesia.

“I urge colleagues not to rest on their laurels. Our task is finished
only when the final cohort, number 527, lands in Indonesia on 2 July,”
he added.
",
