Telkomsel has once again organised its Corporate Social\nResponsibility (CSR) programme for the development of Indonesia\u2019s\ndigital landscape through IndonesiaNEXT. This annual event for\nuniversity students is being held for the 10th time.<\/p>\n
This year, IndonesiaNEXT introduces a different process from previous\niterations. While previous years focused on providing certification as\nappreciation for participants, this year the programme incorporates\nspecific digital roles: hackers, hipsters, and hustlers.<\/p>\n
In this context, \u2018hackers\u2019 possess programming and coding skills, a\nrole essential for developing platforms that meet consumer needs.\n\u2018Hipsters\u2019 are responsible for design, while \u2018hustlers\u2019 manage marketing\nand business aspects to attract investor interest.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are attempting to guide our participants according to their\nrespective roles. We now have hackers, hipsters, and hustlers. We are\ngrouping them so they are not in teams from the same university. The\nhope is that they step out of their comfort zones, socialise, and build\nnetworks with students from other campuses,\u201d said Andry Prixto Santoso,\nGM of Corporate Social Responsibility at Telkomsel, during the\nIndonesiaNEXT Summit 2026 Media Update & Interview Session on Friday\n(4\/9\/2026).<\/p>\n
This year, there are 8,900 participants, from which 24 individuals\nhave been selected. These remaining participants will be divided into\neight groups. Each group consists of three people from different\nuniversities, each taking on one of the specific roles.<\/p>\n
Addressing the 24 finalists, Andry encouraged participants to\nmaintain communication and develop the ideas they have presented, moving\nbeyond mere concepts to practical, everyday applications.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe hope that, ideally, after this, you will continue to communicate\nto further develop your ideas. Not just as ideas, but how they can be\nimplemented in daily life,\u201d said Andry.<\/p>\n
The theme for this year\u2019s event is \u2018AI Driven Digital Talents\u2019. As\npart of this, participants are provided with various AI catalogues.\nDuring the ideation process, they can develop their own concepts and\ndetermine which AI tools are most suitable for their ideas. The invited\nspeakers for the programme\u2019s classes are also focused on AI.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere are many types of AI used, but for the top 24, the \u2018hipsters\u2019\ncan learn prompt engineering,\u201d explained Andry.<\/p>\n
He further explained that Telkomsel is committed to continuously\nproducing digital talent in the country to support technological\nadvancement and the \u2018Indonesia Emas 2045\u2019 programme.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe hope this programme delivers a significant impact, and we will\ncontinue to improve this programme in the future to make it even\nbetter,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n
