        "content": "<p>JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Chairman of Commission III of the DPR,\nHabiburokhman, prayed that videographer Amsal Sitepu would be acquitted\ntoday. \u201cWe pray that in today\u2019s verdict, Amsal can also be freed from\nall charges,\u201d said Habiburokhman when asked for confirmation on\nWednesday (1\/4\/2026). Habiburokhman also appreciated the panel of judges\nfor granting their request to suspend Amsal\u2019s detention in the case of\nmarkup on the village profile video production project. In this matter,\nCommission III of the DPR acted as the guarantor for the suspension of\nAmsal\u2019s detention. \u201cWe appreciate the suspension of Amsal Sitepu\u2019s\ndetention by the Medan District Court. This is a concrete manifestation\nof the court\u2019s sensitivity to the sense of justice that lives in\nsociety,\u201d said Habiburokhman. Ahead of\nthe verdict reading, Amsal\u2019s legal counsel, Willyam Raja Dev, expressed\nhis hope that the panel of judges would deliver the fairest justice for\nhis client. \u201cOur hope remains in line with the plea, in the form of\nfreedom,\u201d said Willyam when contacted on Tuesday, 31 March 2026.
