Habibie's doctor named as professor<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Dr. Nurhay Abdurrahman, a female member of the
\npresidential medical team, has been installed as a permanent
\nprofessor at the Internal Disease Department at the University of
\nIndonesia.<\/p>\n
President B.J. Habibie and first lady Hasri Ainun Habibie,
\ntogether with members from Habibie's inner circle including Jimly
\nAssidiqie, were among those who attended Nurhay's inauguration
\nceremony on Wednesday at the university's Salemba campus in
\nCentral Jakarta.<\/p>\n
Rector at the university, Prof. Asman Budisantosa, presided at
\nthe ceremony.<\/p>\n
In her one-hour installment speech titled Coronary Heart
\nDisease Problems for Today and Tomorrow, Nurhay told the audience
\nthat a different life style and changed eating patterns were
\nmajor causes of coronary heart disease.<\/p>\n
Stress-related work ailments were a common phenomenon in
\nmodern society, she said.<\/p>\n
In several Asian cities, the number of people consuming high
\nfat diets indicated a significant increase, she said without
\nelaborating.<\/p>\n
Nurhay suggested that people could prevent high-fat related
\nhealth problems by consuming less cholesterol and by enjoying
\nmore relaxing activities such as playing sport.<\/p>\n
She revealed a health pursuit of the President: Pak Habibie
\ndoes a good thing for his health by swimming for one hour
\neveryday\".<\/p>\n
According to Wiwiek Sugiono, a retired nurse at the Internal
\nDisease department of the university, Nurhay was the first female
\nstudent at the Medical Faculty of the university, attending from
