        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - More than 52,000 passengers departed for Eid\nhomecoming from train stations in the PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) Daop\n1 Jakarta region on Thursday, or H-2 before Eid.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKAI Daop 1 Jakarta recorded 52,330 tickets sold for today\u2019s\ndepartures from various stations in the Daop 1 area, including Pasar\nSenen and Gambir Stations,\u201d said Manager of Public Relations for PT KAI\nDaerah Operasi (Daop) 1 Jakarta, Franoto Wibowo, at Senen Station,\nJakarta, on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the number of arriving passengers reached 27,741 people.\nCumulatively, the total departures during the 11-19 March period have\nreached 430,977 passengers.<\/p>\n<p>Franoto explained that the figure could still increase until\nmidnight. \u201cUsually, from morning until midnight, there is an additional\n500 to 1,000 passengers,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Data shows that Pasar Senen Station was the second busiest departure\npoint after yesterday\u2019s H-3 peak, which exceeded 53,576 passengers.<\/p>\n<p>Many passengers were seen sitting in the waiting areas, guarding\ntheir belongings and awaiting their departure schedules to their\nrespective destinations. However, limited seating forced some passengers\nto sit on the station floor.<\/p>\n<p>One passenger, Yogi Irawan (38 years old), said he chose to depart\nclose to Eid because he had just received leave. He and his family plan\nto return to their hometown in Malang, East Java.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cActually, I\u2019ve been on leave since yesterday, but I got tickets for\ntoday\u2019s departure,\u201d said Yogi.<\/p>\n<p>PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta provided a total seating capacity for\nlong-distance trains of 1,083,623 seats. A total of 756,929 tickets have\nbeen sold for the period from 11 March to 1 April 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Franoto stated that the average occupancy rate for the period from 11\nMarch to 1 April 2026 is 70 per cent (dynamic data).<\/p>\n<p>KAI Daop 1 Jakarta operates 68 regular long-distance train services\nper day, 12 additional trains from Gambir Station, seven additional\ntrains from Pasar Senen Station, and four free Motor Train services.<\/p>",
