        "content": "<p>Ambon (ANTARA) - The Naval Combat Group (Guspurla) of Koarmada III\nMaluku is operating the Aircraft (Pesud) P-8301, a CN235-220 Maritime\nPatrol Aircraft (MPA), to strengthen security in Indonesia\u2019s eastern\nwaters, particularly in supporting Operation Siaga Purla\/Tameng Papua-26\nPhase II.<\/p>\n<p>The commander of Guspurla Koarmada III, First Admiral TNI Andri\nKristianto, in Ambon on Wednesday, stated that the operation of the\nmaritime patrol aircraft is a strategic step in enhancing surveillance\nand early detection of various potential threats in Indonesia\u2019s eastern\nwaters.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis operation is very important to ensure that territorial\nsovereignty remains maintained, considering that eastern Indonesia has a\nfairly high level of vulnerability, both from potential territorial\nviolations, illegal activities such as unlicensed fishing, to other\nsecurity threats,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>In carrying out the mission, Pesud P-8301 from Air Squadron 800 of\nAir Wing 2 at the Navy Aviation Centre (Puspenerbal) was piloted by\nLieutenant Commander (Pilot) Wisnu Akbar under the operational control\n(BKO) of Guspurla Koarmada III.<\/p>\n<p>The aircraft took off from Pattimura Airport in Ambon to sweep the\noperational area (Rahops), particularly the waters of Papua and\nsurrounding areas, which are the focus of Operation Tameng Papua-26.<\/p>\n<p>This operation also represents the Indonesian Navy\u2019s readiness in\nmaintaining national maritime security stability, while supporting\ngovernment efforts to protect marine natural resources.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the operation\u2019s implementation was directly monitored by\nrelevant officials as a form of commitment to ensuring the optimal\nperformance of the Navy\u2019s air elements.<\/p>\n<p>The aircraft was reported to have landed back at Pattimura Airport in\nAmbon safely and smoothly after completing its operational mission.<\/p>",
