        "content": "<p>Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf, commonly known as Gus Ipul,\nreceived four regional leaders in an audience at the Ministry of Social\nAffairs office. The visitors were Padang Mayor Fadly Amran, Gorontalo\nRegent Sofyan Puhi, Sigi Regent Rizal Intjenae, and East Luwu Regent\nIrwan Bachri Syam.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting took place on Monday (23 February). During the audience,\nGus Ipul invited the regional leaders to jointly oversee the accuracy of\nsocial assistance recipient data from the village level upwards.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRegents hold significant authority in determining deciles. All data\noriginates from the regions and is subsequently verified by BPS\n[Statistics Indonesia],\u201d said Gus Ipul in a written statement on Tuesday\n(24 February 2026).<\/p>\n<p>Gus Ipul requested that social affairs offices in each region\nstrengthen coordination down to the village level to ensure data\nupdating proceeds accurately. He explained there are two channels for\ndata updating: the formal channel through neighbourhood associations\n(RT\/RW), and the participatory channel through the\nproposal-and-objection mechanism in the Cek Bansos application.<\/p>\n<p>The Ministry of Social Affairs has also opened participatory data\nupdating channels through several platforms, including the SIKS NG\napplication accessible to village operators and social affairs office\noperators, ground checks by PKH (Family Hope Programme) facilitators,\nBPS officers and local governments, the Ministry\u2019s 171 Call Centre, and\navailable WhatsApp channels.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt every Posyandu [integrated health post] in the village, there is\nwhat is called a Puskesos [social welfare centre] that functions to\nreceive complaints from the public \u2014 any complaints whatsoever. Puskesos\ncan also serve as a gathering point for social facilitators,\u201d he\nelaborated.<\/p>\n<p>Gus Ipul emphasised the importance of regional leaders taking the\ndata updating process seriously through to the validation stage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cReady!\u201d the regional leaders replied in unison, affirming their\ncommitment to overseeing every stage of the social assistance recipient\ndata updating process.<\/p>",
