        "content": "<p>Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf inspected the construction\nprocess of the permanent People\u2019s School Central Java 2 Semarang in\nRowosari Village, Tembalang Subdistrict, Semarang City, on Thursday, 9\nApril 2026.<\/p>\n<p>On that occasion, the man familiarly known as Gus Ipul stated that\nthe People\u2019s School Central Java 2 Semarang is targeted to begin\noperations in June 2026 and is ready to accommodate 1,000 students from\nunderprivileged families. The construction of the permanent building has\nnow exceeded 30 percent.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe construction process is underway, PT Adi Karya under the\nMinistry of Public Works is urged to meet the June target. Because in\nJuly, insyaallah, all students will be able to participate in the\nlearning process,\u201d said Gus Ipul.<\/p>\n<p>He emphasised that the construction of the permanent People\u2019s School\nis part of President Prabowo\u2019s ongoing national programme at more than\n100 locations across Indonesia. Each location is targeted to accommodate\n1,000 students. \u201cThis year, the People\u2019s Schools have already\naccommodated around 45,000 students, next year reaching 100,000\nstudents. In 2028, insyaallah, more than 200,000 students,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Gus Ipul stated that this programme is a concrete step by the\ngovernment to expand access to quality education, especially for\nchildren from underprivileged families who have not been fully reached\nby development. \u201cThe President wants underprivileged families to have\naccess to quality education,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that the project is designed as a boarding school with\ncomplete facilities, from classrooms, laboratories, libraries, to\nfacilities for developing students\u2019 interests and talents.<\/p>\n<p>In its implementation, the People\u2019s School programme involves\nmultiple ministries and institutions. The Ministry of Social Affairs is\nresponsible for operations, while infrastructure development is\nsupported by the Ministry of Public Works, in collaboration with other\nministries under the coordination of the Coordinating Ministry for\nCommunity Empowerment. Additionally, the People\u2019s School construction\nprogramme absorbs thousands of workers on a massive scale\nnationally.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt present, there are 100 construction sites. That means no fewer\nthan 60,000 workers today are jointly building the Permanent People\u2019s\nSchool Buildings. This is something extraordinary, and we truly\nappreciate, respect, and honour President Prabowo for his extraordinary\ncommitment,\u201d said Gus Ipul.<\/p>\n<p>It is known that the Central Java 2 Semarang People\u2019s School is built\non a 65,000 square metre plot of land, with a building area of 27,372\nsquare metres. This facility is designed to accommodate up to 1,080\nstudents divided into 36 learning groups (rombel).<\/p>\n<p>The composition includes 18 rombel for primary school level with a\ntotal of 540 students, as well as 9 rombel each for junior and senior\nhigh school levels, each accommodating 270 students. Entering the 18th\nweek of construction, the work progress is recorded at 30.307 percent\nfrom the planned target of 31.34 percent, with a deviation of minus\n1.033 percent.<\/p>",
