Model and TV presenter Nadya Hutagalung has something to tell
\nhunters and others who prey on endangered animals.<\/p>\n

\"I just spoke (about conservation) last week in Singapore in
\nan Asian forum which was held in cooperation with the Asian
\nConservation Awareness Program, the Singapore Zoo and the
\nIndonesian community in Singapore,\" she said on Thursday in
\nJakarta when she attended the launching of A Mild Live, a weekly
\nmusic TV show she will host.<\/p>\n
Of course, she also cares about the fate of Indonesia's rare
\nanimals, such as the orangutan (she has done a Singapore public
\nservice message about the plight of the ape).<\/p>\n
The winner of the 1997 Asian Television Award said she was
\nlooking for an organization to work with in Indonesia in
\ncampaigning for endangered species conservation programs.<\/p>\n
Born in Sydney of an Indonesian father and Australian mother,
\nNadya lives in Singapore with her four-year-old son but remains a
\nveejay for MTV US. She said she did not reside in Indonesia
\nbecause it did not provide good career prospects.<\/p>\n
But there are some things she misses, especially when it comes
\nto matters of the stomach. She loves rendang (braised beef in
\ncoconut milk and spices, from West Sumatra) and other popular
