Rumor had it that MC and TV talk show host Hughes was turning
\nher back on her career and heading off to the Freeport compound
\nin Irian Jaya to join her new husband.<\/p>\n
Forsaking all for love? It sounds romantic, but the story was
\nall wrong.<\/p>\n
\"I'm going to Freeport only for a week. I will visit my
\nhusband and at the same time, I have a job as an MC there in an
\nIndependence Day commemoration with singers Iis Dahlia and Yuni
\nShara,\" she said with a laugh.<\/p>\n
\"I won't leave my entertainment world which I reached through
\nhard work. Besides, if I move to Freeport, what will I do there?\"<\/p>\n
But Hughes has left her Saturday night talk show Angin Malam
\non RCTI. As well as reaching the end of her 52-episode contract,
\nHughes said her reasons for giving up the show included security
\nfears because she left for home at 2 a.m., and her wish to fall
\npregnant as soon as possible.<\/p>\n
She will be replaced by Peggy Melati Sukma starting on Aug.

Peggy was selected by RCTI from candidates including Indy
\nBarens, entertainer Tika Panggabean, actress-producer Debby
