Well-known jazz musician Dwiki Dharmawan of the band Krakatau
\nis trying his luck in the virtual world. With some friends, he is
\nworking to set up a new website for music, art and culture.
\nIndonesianArt.Net is scheduled to be launched in November.<\/p>\n
\"I am so concerned that so many Indonesian people, especially
\nthe youngsters, are not aware of their own rich culture,\" Dwiki
\nsaid at his office in Pondok Indah, South Jakarta.<\/p>\n
Dwiki said the website would provide surfers with
\ncomprehensive information on Indonesian traditional and
\ncontemporary music, performing arts, fine arts and fashion.<\/p>\n
\"It is not aimed at countering the flood of info from outside
\nIndonesia. We just want to show to the world that despite
\neconomic and political turbulence, the Indonesian art world is
\nstill flourishing,\" he said.<\/p>\n
His new business will not interfere with his music career,
\nDwiki asserted. The band's newest CD, Magical Match, is now
\navailable in record stores.<\/p>\n
Dwiki and the other members of Krakatau are currently
\npreparing for a tour of Australian in October.<\/p>\n
\"I try to create a balance in my life between music, business
\nand, of course, family,\" said Dwiki, who is married to singer Ita
