Arriving in China to promote the Special Olympics, Arnold
\nSchwarzenegger did not shrink from politically explosive trade

With China negotiating World Trade Organization membership
\nwith the European Union and a contentious Chinese trade vote in
\nthe U.S. Congress next week, Chinese reporters asked
\nSchwarzenegger where he stood.<\/p>\n
He pronounced himself a free-trader.<\/p>\n
\"I didn't come here for politics,\" he said Thursday at the
\nopening of an Arnold Schwarzenegger film festival. \"But I'm a
\nfirm believer, coming from the more conservative kind of
\npolitical opinions, that all borders should open up and people
\nshould be trading among themselves all over the world.\"<\/p>\n
The comments marked politics' brief intrusion into a day of
\npromoting Special Olympics and Schwarzenegger.<\/p>\n
The body-builder-turned-film star held a news conference on
\nthe disabled athletes' games, toured a school for the disabled
\nand kicked off the film festival, with Terminator 2, the movie's
