On the morning of 25 April, the China\n(Zhongshan)\u2013Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) Investment Promotion and Exchange\nConference, along with the \u201cGuangdong Products Go Global: Zhongshan\nProducts in Malaysia\u201d event, was officially opened at Pavilion Bukit\nJalil. This is the first time the Guangdong Goods Go Global initiative\nhas been held overseas in the form of a direct offline exhibition and\nsales since its launch. \u201cGuangdong Goods Go Global\u201d sets sail overseas:\nZhongshan\u2019s flagship products captivate Kuala Lumpur. Carrying the theme\n\u201cPremium Zhongshan Products, Trade Connecting Southeast Asia\u201d, this\ntwo-day event features a high-standard offline exhibition and sales area\nfor Zhongshan\u2019s flagship products, focusing on major categories such as\nsmart home appliances, lighting fixtures, locks and hardware, daily\nnecessities, smart equipment, and smart physiotherapy robots. More than\n70 quality companies from Zhongshan, including TCL, Changhong, and\nVatti, are displaying over 300 flagship products at the event. Over 20\ncompanies are participating in on-site direct sales, while 30 companies\nare joining the exhibition, creating a combination of sales and\npromotion to drive brand strengthening and market expansion. With 11\nstandard booths and 9 special booths, the event forms a themed\nexhibition area \u201cZhongshan Intelligent Manufacturing\u201d. In addition,\nspecial exhibition panels themed \u201cCharm of Zhongshan\u201d and \u201cZhongshan\nCultural Tourism\u201d are installed to showcase the strength of Zhongshan\u2019s\nmanufacturing industry, city development, and the unique cultural and\ntourism characteristics of the city originating from many overseas\nChinese. Shopee, Malaysia\u2019s leading e-commerce\nplatform, was invited to engage in direct dialogue with participating\ncompanies, introducing platform services, onboarding policies, and\ndistribution channel resources. During the event, the establishment of\nthe \u201cMalaysia (Johor Bahru)\u2013China (Zhongshan) Centre for High-Quality\nFlagship Products Trade\u201d in Malaysia was announced, accompanied by a\nplaque handover ceremony to two Zhongshan-origin companies. This step\nsignifies that Zhongshan companies now have a forward base in Malaysia\nfor regular exhibitions, sales, and ongoing business matchmaking.
