Group protests against newspaper<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Dozens of anti-President Abdurrahman Wahid
\nprotesters calling themselves the Anti Corruption People's Forum
\n(FRAKSI) visited the Harian Terbit daily evening newspaper office
\nin Pulogadung, East Jakarta, on Friday, to protest an erroneous
\nphoto caption displayed on the front page of its Friday edition.<\/p>\n
Arriving in several cars, the group protested the photo
\ncaption which read: \"... a group of Abdurrahman's supporters are
\npraying at the House of Representatives\".<\/p>\n
The group denied that they supported the President and
\ndemanded the newspaper correct the caption in Saturday's edition.<\/p>\n
\"We have apologized and will make a correction. They lodged
\ntheir protest in a nonviolent way,\" Marhendra, an editor at the
\ndaily, told The Jakarta Post.<\/p>\n
Several police officers were on duty at the office but no
\nincident happened during the group's visit at 9 p.m. (jun\/ylt)<\/p>",
