        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Minister for National Development Planning\/Head of\nthe National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) Rachmat Pambudy has\nstated that the green economy can be the main engine for achieving the\neconomic growth target of 8 percent sustainably.<\/p>\n<p>Through this transformation, Indonesia is projected to be able to\ncreate more than five million new green jobs by 2029, while also\ntransforming more than 72 million jobs to become more productive,\nvalue-added and sustainable.<\/p>\n<p>In this context, the private sector is considered to have a very\nimportant role in determining the success of national development by\nmaking the green economy one of the strategic directions that needs to\nbe realised through collaboration between the government, business,\nacademia, the media and the public.<\/p>\n<p>He emphasised that no country has become advanced, developed and\ngrown without the support of the business world.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf the business world has concern for this nation and initiates the\ndevelopment of its nation, then this is a sign that we will grow,\ndevelop and be sustainable. Therefore, let us build the nation together.\nEconomic growth and environmental preservation are not two things that\nsacrifice each other, but rather two pillars that reinforce each other,\u201d\nhe said.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Rachmat Pambudy stressed that the green economy is not\nmerely about following global trends, but has become part of the\nnational development architecture as set out in the National Long-Term\nDevelopment Plan (RPJPN) 2025-2045, the National Medium-Term Development\nPlan (RPJMN) 2025-2029, and the Government Work Plan (RKP).<\/p>\n<p>This commitment also supports the achievement of the net zero\nemission target by 2060 or sooner, while strengthening the\nimplementation of the President of the Republic of Indonesia\u2019s\nAstacita.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe green economy current must not stop at growth centres, but must\nreach households, villages, coastal areas, and people\u2019s economic hubs.\nFor this reason, we must strengthen regulatory reform, open more\ninclusive financing access, and build green skills so that the public is\nready to fill green jobs.
