Grand Wedding Expo to unveil on March 11<\/p>\n

Just in time for the wedding season -- or for those couples
\nbudding with nuptial anticipation -- the fourth Grand Wedding
\nExpo will be held from March 11 through 13 at the Jakarta
\nConvention Center.<\/p>\n
Featuring the work of designer Nelwan Anwar, about 30 wedding
\ndresses and gowns made from ramie, a natural fiber, will be sent
\ndown the catwalk for the expo's opening show.<\/p>\n
The creations will be modeled by a star-studded cast,
\nincluding actresses Dorce Gamalama and Asti Ananta.<\/p>\n
But no wedding is complete without the cake, and Libra Cake --
\na leader in wedding and birthday cakes -- promises a spectacular
\ncake made especially for the event.<\/p>\n
\"I am still amazed by our own plan. The cake will be very
\nspecial,\" said Max of Libra Cake.<\/p>\n
Last year, Libra Cake received an award from the Indonesian
\nMuseum of Records in Semarang for baking a replica of a base
\ntransmission station tower that measured 5 by 5 by 9 meters.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, cosmetics giant Martha Tilaar will present a
\ntraditional Surakarta spa treatment as an option for brides to
\nprepare for their big day.<\/p>\n
Talk shows and bridal shows are also scheduled for the
\nduration of the expo.<\/p>\n
Mirella Wattimena of Panorama Convex, which is organizing the
\nevent, said the grand expo would offer all items needed for a
\nwedding, from gowns to suits, from venues to decorations, from
\nsouvenirs to invitations, and of course, honeymoon packages.<\/p>",
