        "content": "<p>Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia \u2013 Grab, through Grab For Business, has\nofficially integrated its services with Concur Expense by SAP Concur.\nThe collaboration is designed to make it easier for companies across\nSouth-East Asia to manage business travel and employee expenses\nautomatically.<\/p>\n<p>Through the integration, all records of business travel transactions,\nfood orders and delivery services made via the Work Profile feature in\nthe Grab app can be connected automatically to the Concur Expense\nsystem.<\/p>\n<p>Every eligible transaction will be recorded directly in Concur\nExpense, meaning employees no longer need to enter expense data manually\nfor reimbursement. For their part, companies can monitor cash flow and\nmatch these expenses against applicable travel policies in real\ntime.<\/p>\n<p>Valerie Khoo, Regional Head of Grab For Business, said business\ntravel remains an important foundation of corporate operations. However,\nfragmented travel management and expense recording often add to the\nadministrative burden.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBusiness travel plays an important role in helping companies\nstrengthen relationships with customers, reach new markets and keep\nday-to-day operations running smoothly. However, many companies still\nmanage travel and expenses through separate systems,\u201d Valerie said in a\nwritten statement received by CNBC Indonesia on Tuesday (15\/9\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTogether with SAP Concur, we can connect business mobility with\nexpense management in a single, more integrated process, so companies\ncan automate expense reporting while gaining better visibility and\ncontrol over business travel spending,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n<p>Surge in Business Travel in Asia Pacific<\/p>\n<p>The integration step comes amid a resurgence in business travel in\nthe Asia Pacific region. According to projections from the Global\nBusiness Travel Association (GBTA), total business travel spending in\nthe region is projected to exceed US$700.9 billion throughout 2026.\nIndonesia itself is one of the most aggressively growing markets, with\nthe value of business travel predicted to jump by as much as 12.6%.<\/p>\n<p>This growth demands stricter oversight standards. In fact, most\noperational expenses in the field \u2013 such as ground transport and meals \u2013\nare still frequently processed manually.<\/p>\n<p>Joint research by Grab For Business and GBTA recorded several notable\nfindings:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><p>95% of business travellers in South-East Asia use ride-hailing\nservices (such as Grab) for work purposes.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>However, only 58% of companies have specific mechanisms to\nregulate the use of such services.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>As many as 57% of employees frequently delay submitting\nreimbursement claims because they find the process administratively\nexhausting.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Nearly half of respondents admitted needing more than 20 minutes\njust to complete a single expense report.<\/p><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>With the data bridge between Grab For Business and Concur Expense,\nall transaction histories will be synchronised instantly. Employees are\nfreed from the hassle of re-typing data, while management gains full\ncontrol over the company\u2019s financial transparency.<\/p>\n<p>The Grab For Business integration with SAP Concur is now available\nvia the SAP Concur App Center for all corporate customers across\nSouth-East Asia.<\/p>",
