One month for restructuring,\u201d Hasan said during an event\non improving the quality of MBG services and Nutrition Fulfillment\nService Units (SPPGs) in remote areas, held at the Coordinating Ministry\nfor Food Affairs office here on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Within the one-month period, Hasan said his side is committed to\nreorganizing and addressing issues related to SPPGs that had been\ntraded, mapping schools receiving MBG assistance, improving kitchen\nquality, and verifying reports on MBG beneficiaries.<\/p>\n<p>The MBG program restructuring is the government\u2019s response to various\nissues that have arisen during its implementation.<\/p>\n<p>According to Hasan, those issues have drawn the attention of\nPresident Prabowo Subianto.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt one point, the President eventually heard about them and decided\nto replace the management with a new one,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Nanik S. Deyang said the\nagency has been implementing several budget-efficiency measures to\nensure that the program does not burden state finances while maintaining\nits nutritional targets for beneficiaries.<\/p>\n<p>The first measure is a moratorium on the establishment of new service\npoints and kitchens. To date, there are 27,877 operational kitchens\nregistered through virtual accounts, which will be reorganized to assess\nwhether their service capacities match the number of beneficiaries in\neach area.<\/p>\n<p>The BGN has also temporarily suspended registrations for new kitchens\nwhile mapping needs across regions.
