        "content": "<p>Govt seeks cars for ASEAN Summit<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: State Secretary Bambang Kesowo disclosed on Wednesday<br>\nhis concern about Indonesia's preparations for the ASEAN summit<br>\nwhich is slated to take place in October in Bali.<\/p>\n<p>Bambang said that among his main concerns was how to procure<br>\nworld-class cars for heads of states attending the summit.<\/p>\n<p>He made the statement during a hearing with House of<br>\nRepresentatives (DPR) Commission I for political, security and<br>\nforeign affairs.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from heads of 10 ASEAN countries, the summit will be<br>\nattended by four ASEAN partners and possibly delegations from<br>\nAustralia, Papua New Guinea and East Timor.<\/p>\n<p>The state secretary said he hoped he could find companies that<br>\ncan provide cars for rental. \"It will only create controversy if<br>\nwe buy new cars,\" Bambang said.<\/p>\n<p>He said he hoped his office could provide state guests with<br>\nthe Volvo S30, the latest in the series. -- JP<\/p>",
