        "content": "<p>Govt proposes bus fare increase<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: The government will allow bus operators to increase<br>\nfares over the Idul Fitri holidays.<\/p>\n<p>Minister of Transportation Agum Gumelar said a proposed<br>\nceiling system would be easier to control than the previous<br>\nsystem of a new tariff for Idul Fitri.<\/p>\n<p>The minister said the ceiling system would first be debated by<br>\nthe House of Representatives before it was implemented by the end<br>\nof the month.<\/p>\n<p>The government would apply the new ceiling one week before<br>\nIdul Fitri, which should fall on Dec. 6, and one week after.<\/p>\n<p>Millions of people are expected to travel domestically to<br>\ncelebrate Idul Fitri.<\/p>\n<p>To prevent terror attacks, the minister said the government<br>\nwould also tighten security along the highways most used by Idul<br>\nFitri travelers. -- Antara<\/p>",
