        "content": "<p>Govt firm imports cement<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): PT Dharma Niaga, a state-owned trading company<br>\nwill import 1.1 million tons of cement this year under a one-year<br>\ncontract with a supplier in China.<\/p>\n<p>Benarto, president of Dharma Niaga, said here on Saturday that<br>\nthe imported cement would be of grades 425 and 525 or equivalent<br>\nin quality to portland cement as recommended by ministry of<br>\npublic works.<\/p>\n<p>The cement from China will be unloaded at Tanjung Priok port<br>\nin Jakarta and Tanjung Emas port in Semarang and will be<br>\ndelivered to contractors and industrial users at a price of<br>\naround Rp 7,200 per 40 kg-sack.<\/p>\n<p>He said the company will increase its import volume as the<br>\ndomestic demand increases. It is now exploring the possibility of<br>\ndiversifying its cement suppliers to Eastern Europe. (32)<\/p>",
