        "content": "<p>Govt asked to scrub fees in trading<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: The City Council has requested the Jakarta<br>\nadministration to eliminate fees for business trading permits.<\/p>\n<p>\"In line with the central government's policy of not burdening<br>\nentrepreneurs with too many fees, it would be better if the<br>\nJakarta administration just eliminated them,\" said Nurmansjah<br>\nLubis of the council's Commission B on economic affairs.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the City Industry and Trade Agency should try to<br>\nmeet its own maximum time limit of 14 days for issuing permits<br>\nfor industrial businesses, and five days for issuing permits for<br>\ntrading activities.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, the administration requires fees of between Rp<br>\n50,000 (US$5.62) and Rp 250,000 to obtain permits for trading<br>\nactivities or warehouses, Rp 300,000 for industrial businesses<br>\nand Rp 200,000 for a business expansion permit. -- Antara<\/p>",
