Kendari (ANTARA) \u2014 The Governor of Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra) has\ncalled on the province\u2019s two representatives in the 2025 National\nFlag-Raising Squad (Paskibraka) to uphold the good name of their region\nthroughout their training programme.<\/p>\n
Governor Andi Sumangerukka, speaking in South Konawe on Friday, said\nthe two students who passed the national Paskibraka selection were\nMuhammad Faiq Alimudin from Kendari City and Alika Zea Chanidya from\nWest Muna Regency.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey will depart for Jakarta on 14 July 2025 to join Paskibraka\nrepresentatives from across Indonesia,\u201d said Andi Sumangerukka whilst\nseeing off the two members at Haluoleo Airport in South Konawe.<\/p>\n
He urged the two national Paskibraka members to continue upholding\nthe region\u2019s reputation as Southeast Sulawesi\u2019s envoys and to carry out\ntheir duties well, so they might bring home achievements and pride for\nthe people of the province.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe wish them every success there, and hope they return in good\nhealth bringing pride to Southeast Sulawesi,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Andi Sumangerukka also stressed that the two provincial\nrepresentatives should maintain proper conduct and manners with their\npeers and supervisors throughout the training process leading up to the\n80th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia\u2019s Independence Day.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey will be meeting fellow participants from various provinces, so\nthey must always be polite and courteous. They are a reflection of\nSoutheast Sulawesi,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Acting Head of the Southeast Sulawesi National Unity and\nPolitical Affairs Agency (Kesbangpol) Andrian said the two students had\nundergone a rigorous selection process at the provincial level.<\/p>\n
\u201cThree pairs of candidates were sent to the national level, and Faiq\nand Alika were ultimately selected as Southeast Sulawesi\u2019s\nrepresentatives for the 2025 National Paskibraka,\u201d Andrian said.<\/p>\n
He explained that the two representatives would be briefed on the\nimportance of maintaining ethics and upholding the region\u2019s good name.\nThey would also be urged to prepare themselves physically and mentally\nto carry out their duties effectively.<\/p>\n
Andrian expressed hope that the pair might secure prestigious roles\nin Jakarta, such as tray bearer or flag raiser.<\/p>\n
