Lampung Governor Rahmat Mirzani Djausal inspected the progress of\nroad infrastructure development on the Metro\u2013Kota Gajah route in Central\nLampung Regency and the Pattimura Road route in Metro City on Thursday,\n20 August 2026. The inspection was carried out to ensure that road\nconstruction is proceeding according to standards, both in terms of work\nquality and timely completion.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe work is neat, the quality is also good, and the work is much\nfaster. It is already plus 8 percent, much faster. This should be\nemulated,\u201d the Governor said after inspecting the Metro\u2013Kota Gajah road\nin Central Lampung Regency, which has a handling length of 375 metres,\nbefore continuing to the Pattimura Road route in Metro City, with a\nhandling length of 1,095 metres.<\/p>\n
According to him, the quality of road infrastructure development must\nbe a primary concern so that the results can provide optimal benefits\nfor the community. He also emphasised the importance of applying the\nsame work standards throughout Lampung. This is necessary so that the\nquality of infrastructure development does not differ from one region to\nanother.<\/p>\n
\u201cWork standards must be improved. They must be the same throughout\nLampung. If it is good here and poor there, the public will be\ndisappointed,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
The Governor assessed that the work results on the inspected routes\nshowed very good quality.
