        "content": "<p>Jayapura (ANTARA) - Papua Governor Mathius D Fakhiri has given an Eid\nal-Fitr 1447 H gift to the local community in the form of relief on\nmotor vehicle tax (PKB), aimed at promoting taxpayer compliance while\nincreasing regional revenue. \u201cThis policy serves as a stimulus for the\ncommunity to promptly settle their tax obligations, whether active or\noverdue,\u201d he stated in Jayapura on Monday. Mathius hopes that the public\nwill take advantage of this gift. \u201cWe are providing a waiver of\nadministrative penalties as well as a discount on the principal motor\nvehicle tax. For compliant taxpayers who pay before the due date, a 15\nper cent discount is given as a form of appreciation,\u201d he said. \u201cWe are\nalso offering a 30 per cent discount for vehicles from outside the\nregion undergoing transfer into Papua,\u201d he added.
