        "content": "<p>The government targets the completion of the West Kalimantan\nProvincial \u2018Sekolah Rakyat\u2019 in Singkawang by 20 June 2026, following\nconstruction progress that has reached 58 per cent and continues to show\npositive development.<\/p>\n<p>Herzaky Mahendra Putra, Special Staff to the Coordinating Minister\nfor Infrastructure and Regional Development, stated that construction is\nbeing accelerated so that the educational facilities can be utilised by\nthe community as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBased on the results of the inspection, construction progress has\nreached 58 per cent. With an average work development of above 2.5 per\ncent per day, we are optimistic that the completion target of 20 June\ncan be achieved,\u201d said Herzaky after inspecting the \u2018Sekolah Rakyat\u2019\nconstruction in Singkawang on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the acceleration of construction is being achieved\nby increasing the number of workers on-site. Currently, approximately\n1,300 workers are involved in the project, an increase from the previous\nfigure of around 900 people.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want there to be acceleration, but building quality and worker\nsafety must remain the primary concerns,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Herzaky expressed his appreciation to the workers involved in the\nconstruction for their continuous efforts to keep the project progress\non schedule. He noted that the dedication of the workers is a vital\nfactor in supporting the accelerated development of the \u2018Sekolah\nRakyat\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>He stated that the Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure and\nRegional Development, alongside the Ministry of Public Works, will\ncontinue to monitor and coordinate to ensure all stages of construction\nproceed according to plan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will continue to oversee this construction to ensure it is\ncompleted on time with high quality, so it can be immediately utilised\nto support the improvement of human resource quality,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The \u2018Sekolah Rakyat\u2019 programme, he continued, is one of the\ngovernment\u2019s efforts to expand educational access for the public through\nthe provision of proper and high-quality educational facilities. The\npresence of \u2018Sekolah Rakyat\u2019 in West Kalimantan is expected to support\nthe equitable distribution of educational services and enhance the\nquality of human resources in the region.<\/p>",
