        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) \u2013 The Minister of Culture, Fadli Zon, emphasised the\nimportance of strengthening the mentoring system and simplifying the\nadministrative mechanism of the Indonesiaraya Fund so that it can reach\nmore cultural actors, art communities, studios, and Indigenous peoples\nacross Indonesia. In a Jakarta-confirmed statement on Friday, the\nMinister of Culture assessed that criticisms of bureaucratic complexity\nin last year\u2019s implementation should be used as a basis for joint\nevaluation. \u201cWe want to simplify the process without reducing the\nprinciples of transparency and accountability,\u201d the minister said. The\nBalai and the Kantor Pelestarian Kebudayaan should be actively involved\nin the mentoring process for recipients, including the needs of cultural\ncommunities and the obstacles faced by artists in their regions. The\nMinistry of Culture is currently preparing a mentoring service centre,\nsupported by human resources with substantive culture competencies, to\nassist cultural communities in submitting applications, reporting, and\nmanaging the Indonesiaraya Fund programme. He noted that developing the\ncultural economy is important amid the dynamic global geopolitical\nsituation so that cultural and economic activities continue to move.\n\u201cThe regional cultural economy must stay alive. Cultural activities can\nhelp maintain social stability while directly driving the community\u2019s\neconomy,\u201d the Minister explained. In addition to Indonesiaraya Fund, the\nmeeting also discussed developing the LPDP scholarship programme in the\ncultural field, including mapping relevant study programmes and\nuniversities to support strengthening Indonesia\u2019s cultural sector. The\nCulture Minister hopes that future recipients of cultural scholarships\nwill become ambassadors of Indonesia\u2019s culture who actively contribute\nto international cultural diplomacy. LPDP\u2019s Director of Finance and\nGeneral Affairs, Albertus Kurniadi H, said that LPDP is committed to\ncontinuing to strengthen the governance of the Cultural Endowment Fund\nso that the disbursement of the Indonesiaraya Fund can run more\neffectively, targeted, and easily accessible to cultural actors across\nIndonesia.
